To All,
The next Sydney event is the Great Adventure Challenge, October 20.
This event is different to the usual adventure races as the teams
comprise 8 members with 4 racing at any given time. Team changes are
permitted at each transition.
There will be up to 7 points to cover on the day, however leapfrogging
may allow it to be covered by 4 or 5.
The location will be to the west of Lake Macquarie with the start at
Wangi Wangi.
First leg is a Kayak to Dora Creek.
The Cycling and Running legs are to the west around Mandalong.
Points we need to cover are
Start/Finish Wangi Wangi .
Dora Creek.
Bike TA at the end of Sauls Rd.
Bike/Trek TA off Tobins Rd.
Bike TA Mandalong Rd and Middle Break Rd.
Repeater Site.
I am looking for a suitable spot for the repeater.
All of the transition points are easily accessible.
Several of our members will be unavailable for this event due to the
VRA AGM and a proposed training event in the New England.

Regards,
